If you are on tight deadlines, you have to adhere to them, otherwise you will not get repeat work/buyers. Sometimes you have to work according to the schedule of the employer in certain types of work.
As you are usually not on the payroll of a company or organization, you will not be eligible for perks, benefits, promotions as also holidays and leave. And work may not be regular so you may not have a dependable income.
