How to Reduce Energy Use (Real Examples)04 Jan

Eugene and Chris Mobley

The ‘green movement’ has conquered the world in the past two decades. From Green Peace, green collar organizations, eco-friendly corporations, or common people, we notice an increasing interest towards the planet’s future. This is only normal, considering the damages we have caused so far. This is why all the efforts are focused on saving energy and on implementing renewable energy technology.

Eugene and Chris Mobley are the creators of the Platinum- rated EarthCraftTM home. The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association in collaboration with Southface started the residential green-building program in 19999. What makes this house different from the traditional brick house? The house was built in an area facing North and South, from materials with low/no maintenance. The electricity system is Energy Star certified, meaning that it has the lowest energy consumption. Even the paint and the carpet are low VOC.

We all hope that in the future, all houses will be built according to the highest eco-standards. This will help us spend less on bills and protect the environment.

You can also get a smaller knife (having two different sized knives is always better). A wooden or plastic chopping board is another must-have.

A peeler or parer, a can opener, a bottle opener, and perhaps a garlic… Read More
