How to Give Up Cooked Food (Real Examples)10 Jan

Example 1

Stefania Licari

Stefania Licari is a 31-year-old MD and passionate vegan.  Since she is a native Italian, it was actually quite hard to switch to vegetarian food.  We all know that Italians are true gourmands J However, Stefania’s belief is to respect all living beings and she decided to eat raw fruits, nuts and vegetables. For almost 20 years, Stefania enjoyed the Mediterranean diet that included fish, cheese, bread and occasionally meat.

In addition, she gave up sugar when she was 20, but tried artificial sugar replacements (not very healthy).  Her decision to give up meat was not related to a health problem.  Stefania just felt like meat brought a negative sort of energy.  In just few months, she gave up fish as well, but one question was still bothering her: What about the protein intake needed for having a balanced diet?  Fortunately, there is enough protein is nuts, fruits and vegetables.  You need to do is learn more about it.

How to Put on Weight (Real Examples)31 Dec

Aaron Williams

Aaron Williams had a hard time gaining weight due to a number of reasons. The most important aspect was the fact he was underweight. In addition, his physician discovered he was chronically tired and rundown. No matter what Aaron did, he was not able to gain a pound. He lacked energy and after work, all he did was watching TV and sleep. The solution came from his life partner Kate. While she was researching a new home business opportunity, she found out about a company called Herbalife.

The company was selling natural products, and Aaron considered that a natural approach would give better results. Initially his goal was to regain the lost energy and to feel better. Kate offered him support and advice on how to take the products. Aaron’s treatment included protein powder, soymilk, and a healthy workout program. In about three months, he gained 13 kg and feels great. Using natural products to stimulate his metabolism and allow essential proteins to add weight to his body (in form of muscles) was an inspired decision.

There is a minority, however, which seems to be thin for a number of reasons and they need to put on weight so that they can look good. Causes of being thin

They may be eating lower calories than required or may be suffering from anorexia/bulimia. There are also many illnesses which can lead… Read More

How to Change Your Eating Habits to Get More Nutrition05 Sep

Increasingly people have been eating more of food on the go which most comprises junk food, or food which does not have much nutritive value.

If you are a working person, there are chances that you either skip breakfast altogether or get a coffee on the go and get some doughnut or muffins to eat with it. Unless you brown bag a healthy lunch or live on salads, it is more likely that your lunch, too, is unhealthy. Evening hunger pangs will also mean food bought from out and that leaves dinner and unless you are a good cook, you will be too tired to make anything healthy and nutritive.

Main meals

You have to make small, but significant changes to your eating habits, slowly and gradually. Have your coffee without sugar and cream, having skim milk instead, if necessary. Instead of reaching for a sugar and fat laden muffin or doughnut have some toast . Try and include some fresh fruit or juice if not with breakfast then at mid-morning.

For lunch, if you eat a sandwich, have… Read More
