How to make the best of your vacation to the USA

You have saved for over a year to take your vacation in the United States (US). You want to get the most out of it so it is good to know some tips before you start your vacation. Here are some tips to get the most for your money while on vacation in the US:

. If you have small children, make sure you visit either Disney World in Orlando, Florida or Disneyland in Anaheim (Los Angeles), California. Both theme parks are relatively the same with the one in Orlando having more additional theme parks in the near proximity. Both parks have kennels for your pets if you are traveling with them.

. Some large cities in he US make excellent vacation spots in that they are packed with restaurants, shopping malls, museums, and other attractions. A few favorite cities are San Francisco, Chicago, and New York. Chicago is especially popular if you interested in American baseball.

. If you are interested in the American Wild West, head out to the Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas areas. You can visit Old El Paso in Texas and cross over the Mexican border and shop. You can visit Old Tucson in Arizona which was the scene of many old time American western movies.

. If your vacation takes you to San Francisco, you must visit Chinatown and the Golden Gate Bridge.

. A tip when visiting New York: visit the Empire State Building in Manhatten. Ride the ferry to the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor.

. And if your vacation takes you to California, drive on Highway 1 (the Pacific Coast Route) along the western coastline of California. You can drive from San Francisco to Monterrey and visit the aquarium there. It is a nice day trip.

If you are the rugged outdoors type and vacationing in the western US, get a tent and camp at some of your destinations in the US. There are many nice camping grounds with showers and even internet access. You will save bundles on hotel bills. There are even campsites with facilities next to Disneyland in Anaheim.
