Requirements to become an EMT
If you are planning to become an EMT while still at school/college, you should study science, especially the subject of biology; this will provide a good understanding of the human anatomy - a critical requirement to become an EMT.
To formally become an EMT, a person has to have an Emergency Medical Technician Certification.
An EMT should have a valid driving license, as they are required to drive to emergency situations.
Getting EMT training
To receive EMT training, a person has to go through various levels of EMT training certification. The organizations running the EMT training facilities have to be Emergency Medical Technician accredited. These are usually affiliated with state governments. Levels of EMT training
