  • Rash in the tip of the penis
  • Sensation of irritation during urination or after the intercourse.
  • Frequent urination.
  • Facial swelling.

Antifungal medications are generally used to treat the yeast infections. If you have experiencing the symptoms of yeast infection for the first time in your life, it would be a good idea to see your doctor.

These antifungal agents are available even as mouthwashes and lozenges. Instead of oral drugs, many prefer these forms since they need not have the feeling that they are being treated for some infection.

In care of oral yeast infection, the antibiotics nystatin and fluconazole are usually recommended.

Although it is possible for yeast to transfer from one person to another during intercourse, this is in fact very rare.

Home remedy for yeast infection

Although prescription pills and antifungal creams are extensively used for yeast infections, many sufferers seek out home remedies that possess long-lasting effect, with no side effects. The best form of home remedy for yeast infection is nothing but Yogurt and curd. The bacteria in the curd counteract with the yeast-favoring bacteria.

A woman can put yogurt in around her vagina. Yogurt has bacteria called lactobacillus acidophilus - this kills the yeast. Of course, you should only use plain yogurt.

Another home remedy for containing the growth of yeast is nothing but including two glasses of buttermilk daily in your diet schedule. This will minimize the yeast infection at the most.

Most of us think that using condoms may prevent the yeast infection from the affected individual. A recent research confirms that condoms using a lubricant nonoxynol-9 have been identified to add to the development of anal yeast infections among gay men.

  • Reduce intake of alcohol.
  • Reduce intake of sugars.
  • Avoid wearing tight fitted clothing.
